This diabetic peanut butter banana fana recipe is yet another healthy choice suitable for a diabetic snack or breakfast diet.  The beauty is that it is so quick and simple to make




2 bananas, peeled

4 tablespoons smooth reduce-fat peanut butter

1 cup Rice-Krispies cereal



  1. Place each banana on a piece of foil and place in the refrigerator to freeze for about 1 hour.

  2. Remove banana from the refrigerator and use a knife to spread the peanut butter around the banana.

  3. Individually roll the peanut butter banana in the Rice-Krispies cereal, place it onto a foil sheet then put it into the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

  4. Remove from refrigerator when ready to serve.
