Cancer-fighting Tangy Red Bean Soup Recipe

Red beans are high fiber, low fat and packed full of nutrients that can help to reduce high blood pressure, lower cholesterol and inhibit cancer cells development.  They also contain high levels of antioxidants which can help in the protection against the risk of heart diseases and cancer.




300 grams red beans

Distilled water

Dried orange peel from 2 oranges

Raw honey to taste



  1. Wash the red beans and put them into a saucepan.  Add distilled water and bring to boil.  Lower heat and simmer until red beans become soft, adding more water if necessary.

  2. Add orange peel and continue to boil until you can smell the tangy aroma.

  3. Serve with raw honey

Note: Red bean soup can be cooked faster by using a pressure cooker.
