Cancer-fighting Dried Bean Curd Soup Recipe



2 feet dried non-sweet soy bean curd, cut or break into 1 inch lengths

2 cups distilled water

1/2 cup unsalted anchovies or fish meat

4 cloves garlic, crushed slightly

1 big onion, peeled and cut into chunks

White peppercorns to taste


  1. Wash and soak soy bean curd in water until soft then drain off the water.

  2. Pour distilled water into a stainless steel or glass pot, add anchovies or fish meat, garlic, onion and pepper and bring to boil.  Reduce heat and simmer until aroma is released.

  3. Remove all solid food from the soup into a bowl and set aside.

  4. Add the softened soy bean curd into the soup and bring to boil.  Let it boil for about 2 to 3 mins then turn off the heat.  Serve hot.
